[dropcap custom_class=”normal”]If you are thinking about a informal but elegant wedding on Lake Bracciano, just few minutes from eternal city of Rome this could be the perfect venue.[/dropcap] This was Justine and John’s choice.
They fell in love with the area just because for the charm of Roman appeal and atmosphere. However they wanted to keep a sort of country feeling to let enjoy the party also for their young children and about 15 young guests.
What’s better than Roman are where all is relaxed and just so quaint.
The villa they finally choose for their special event matched the elegance of a five stars hotel with a very Roman familiar atmosphere.
The day of the wedding all the family started to get ready for the ceremony in the villa itself and members went in and out their rooms suggesting each other how to dress up and trying to steal a quick look at the bride to be. All in very familiar mood.
For the civil ceremony the group moved to pretty Bracciano town hall. They had a moving service with all children looking at them and participating the event in a very naive way!
After the ceremony the couple took a little bit of time for themselves to have a few pictures of around the famous medieval Castle of Bracciano – so called Castello Orsini Odescalchi. This is one of the most important example of Renassance Military architecture in Italy. It was closed to pubblic until 1952 when Livio IV Odescalchi decided to renew it and give the possibility to people to appreciate this wonderful venue that could be the perfect spot for your wedding. I will come back soon speaking about some other events we organized over there.
Guests were waiting for bride and groom to their wedding party. A real country chic style event. The villa is located no more than 100 mt from the lake in a totally green context with a magic garden and swimming pool.
After the appetizers buffet was prepared in the upper garden overlooking the swimming pool with open air dinner to follow. The table of the reception was simply amazing. It was a long royal table decorated with white roses and light blue hydrangeas, ranunculus all paced along the table. All very simple, country style but very pretty and elegant. To add a touch of charm there were also little glasses vases with some flowers too.
It all matched Justine’s theme: pastel colors, white, light blue and green.
The very elegant part of the party ended with a delicious Italian semifreddo as a typical ice cream wedding cake. After that all kids started jumping into the swimming pool… for a lot of fun and joy. Just the perfect way to end a simple party. All guests had a very nice day enjoying the mild and sunny weather of Roman Lakes.
