It is well known for characteristic Renaissance architecture, narrow streets, good kosher restaurants and textile shops. This evocative venue the one was chosen by Kevin and Sharon for their wedding ceremony. They are a lovely French-Jewish couple. They opted for a wonderful traditional Jewish ceremony in the afternoon of a nice summer day.
The beautiful and smiling bride arrived in the little piazza outside the Synagogue, in her gorgeous vintage twenties wedding dress. She walked inside the temple with her father to meet her groom and all the family at the altar, under the grand Huppah.
Her bridal bouquet was simple made up with roses in white shades. The temple was decorated with some Medicei vases and flowers in the shades of pink and white. Ceccotti Flowers was the floral designer of the day a very talented designer and staff.
After the solemn and traditional Jewish ceremony, congratulations and hugs with relatives and friends, the couple took some time for their own to take some wedding pictures down the shores of the Tiber river that crosses Rome and then they followed their guests driving a vintage Volkswagen Cabrio Beetle. Reception was planned in one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Rome with the best panorama of Roman skyline.
Villa Miani is a stunning Palladian style estate built over the top of a hill called Monte Mario that dominates the city and mostly Vatican State. Interior rooms are enriched and decorated with marble, gold details, mirrors and bucolic frescoes. It is the perfect wedding venue for and elegant big events and parties.
Aperitif was set in external patio of the Villa, while we served the wedding dinner inside, in the rich Venetian saloons, where all guests had the pleasure to taste the delicious Kosher cuisine powered by the caterer of the venue. Decorations had the same style of the religious ceremony in a perfect match of pastel shades.
The very fun and entertaining Jewish party was brighten by the music of Benny and the Mazal Tov Band that made everyone dance and have fun until late hours.
Couple, and all the guests, stayed in the Hotel Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria. It is located right next to the venue and it also private access for the guests of the villa. It is also where where they had their Shabbat all together the following days.
