Well, it is not difficult finding an amazing church in Rome… but we can say this is one of the best you can see.[/dropcap]

Catholic ceremony on Capitoline Hill by Roman Forums
For their Roman Catholic ceremony April and Greg chose Santa Maria in Aracoeli church which is situated on top of Capitoline Hill.
Capitoline Hill is the very heart of ancient Rome, it is where the citadel was located. It is really the cradle of Western civilization… did you know that the English word “capitol” comes from Capitoline hill? Ins’t it amazing?
Santa Maria in Aracoeli church is just here. It was built in 500 and changed and modified through the centuries. Rich chandeliers and amazing frescos inside made it just perfect for a dream wedding in Rome, most of them are made by Pinturicchio.

But the best part of the church is surely its stairway: 124 steps ordered by Cola di Rienzo.
Bridal entrance can be simply evocative here.
And so did April. She arrived on board of her elegant Mercedes at the foot of the steps… and started to walk up, step by step.
Here comes the bride!

An intimate reception on a terrace overlooking Rome Skyline
After a moving ceremony Alessandro Zingone Photographer took the chance to catch wonderful shots of the couple in Roman Forums. They are located just side of the church. An amazing and enchanting scenario for wedding photos. Could you ask for anything more?
